I am sure most people who have a fear of the dentist are familiar with the film classic 'Marathon Man' staring Dustin Hoffman! I myself would vividly recall the dentistscene and cringe at the thought of entering a dentist's surgery. Unimaginable fear took over and brought me into a cold sweat even contemplating an appointment.
In a moment of necessity and desperation (due to a dental emergency) I trawled the internet to find a dentist that was sympathetic to the demise of people who had this phobia. It was then that I hit the jackpot and found Dr Jan Einfeldt.
From the moment I entered the surgery I was made to feel at home with the welcoming and cheerful staff that surrounded me. I can only liken them to angels, sorry if that sounds a bit over the top but that is how I truly feel.
After only two consultations my fear began to relinquish and I gain confidence knowing that I was in safe hands with a dentist that truly take the time to talk to there patient and find out why there was an irrationally fear.
I was able to carry out a course treatment and noticed how I had changed within. I was no longer a quivering wreck who chained there way to the surgery. But know I am a much calmer patient with confidence in the knowledge I am getting first class treatment and service.
