5 Simple Steps to getting Invisalign clear braces in Kent:
Step 1 – Meet and Discuss
Book a free consultation where asses your teeth and discuss what improvements and corrections you would like. We can estimate how long your Invisalign treatment will take and also discuss alternative straightening options with you to ensure we fit the best possible treatment for you. At this point, if you choose Invisalign, we take a set of impressions (mould) of your teeth.
Step 2 – Animation and Treatment Plan.
From the impressions taken of your teeth, we’re able to create an animation of not only how your teeth will look after your treatment has finished, but also how your teeth will look each step of your Invisalign journey. Once you and your dentist are happy with the plan, we order your aligners! Your Invisalign aligners are usually fitted 2 weeks after they’ve been ordered.
Step 3 – Fitting Your Invisalign Braces
Some small tooth coloured attachments may need to be fitted to some teeth to help with better tooth movement. You will be given several sets of the clear aligner trays that gently start moving your teeth. Sometimes we may have to polish the side of the teeth for better tooth movement. Each tray is worn for 2 weeks day and night, except when you are eating or drinking – it’s OK to keep the trays in when drinking water. You continue living your life as normal, rest assured that your teeth are being straightened despite your braces being barely noticeable!
Step 4 – 8 Week Progress Reviews
The progress of your teeth gets reviewed every 6 to 8 weeks. At these reviews you will be given more aligners to wear until your next review.
Step 5 – You Have Your Perfect Smile!
When you have used up all the Invisalign aligners and the treatment plan ends, you can enjoy your new perfect smile! We will fit retainers for you to protect your new smile from moving back.
